Is Dot church only about being cool?

Hint, no!

Last week, I sent out (Part 2) Church Online: The Steps, along with the story of being the only “delivery nurse” at our 2nd son’s birth.

The replies made me laugh as well as reflect. Thanks for that. God is good!

The final part, Part 3, is already written and will be published soon. Stay tuned.

Quick detour…

This week, we are going to explore a topic I was discussing with other church communicators on FB. I am about 2 years late but I think many of you are not aware of this branding option or probably just on the fence about it.

Have you seen the domains like life.church or newlife.church or adventist.church?

You are probably wondering what’s a .Church domain name and is it just another fancy shmancy, millennial pleasing fad? 🙂 .

After reading my article, however, Malinda decided to ‘snag’ a .Church domain for her church.

If you have already done this, can you reply your website url? Love to feature what you are doing.

If you’re still on the fence or would just like to learn more, check out my latest blog on the Dot Church domain name and how it affects your church

Jason Alexis is passionate about helping churches, ministries and non-profits get their message out to a mobile, global and social generation. Having began his career as an engineer, Jason believes that marketing and communications should be based on hard data, systemic analysis and proven best practices. As the founder of Fluid Ministries, Jason brings this scientific common sense approach to church communications and marketing. He helps churches to spread the age-old Gospel message through modern high-tech communication channels including mobile apps, text messaging and social media.
As a devout Christian, Jason bases his life on solid Biblical principles. That said, Jason recognizes his own imperfections and failure to consistently live out his convictions. Because of this, he knows his need for God's mercy and compassion. He is inclined to extend this mercy to others rather than judge them. Jason strives to run his business and personal affairs with integrity and virtue.
